Using the URI Dereferencing utility

When you're developing linked data, a commonly-needed task is to look up a URI as though it was on this domain. That's what this simple tool does. Think of it as a way to browse the site without... using the site!

For example, if you were to enter the uri:

http://www.w3.org/2000/01/rdf-schema#comment

You'd be redirected to our local copy of that URI, ie

https://statistics.data.gov.uk/resource?uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.w3.org%2F2000%2F01%2Frdf-schema%23comment

Note that you can also do this programatically if you'd prefer to write code. See the linked data API documentation for full details.

If you're not a linked data developer, you almost certainly won't have this problem, and might be better using the site search to find the data you need.
